So every one that preaches the Bible is a liar and deciever. At my church they dont ask for anything. That is why it is called an offering not an asking.

Yes that about sums it up in my opinion.
Offering? Splitiing hairs here they want your money.
I would remove the tax haven away from Churches if I had my way. |

here's a very good point I've heard made: How come, when the Romans decided to make Jesus' birthday December 25, to co-incide with the Sun-God's holy day, they didn't have the presence of mind to go in and tweak a few verses to make it say that that was Jesus' birthday? As you should know, nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus was born on or anywhere near December 25, or that his birthday should be celebrated.
How come Biblical scripture is so much at odds with catholic teaching, and yet they had almost two thousand years to do what they wanted to the Bible? Unless it was left the way it was meant to be.
