Yeah Franki, I'm not catholic but I had an old Nun teach me Piano for a few months when I was about 6. (got a real teacher after that).

She was about 80 and had a habit of whacking the underside of my wrists with a ruler to try to make me keep my hands up.

I had some indecent thoughts about her at the time but none of them were sexual. Evil or Very Mad

Alotta. Alotta Fagina
and then there were the Fister Sisters Cool

Stui, I was raised a good little Italian Catholic Boy. Around the age of 10 or so I grew a brain and figured that everything I was taught just didn't sit right. I guess you could say I saw the light Smile

If you don't like it, use the "off" switch.

Heres a non-radical concept. Seeing that the majority of the population find pornography offensive and considering the risk of children being exposed to such material, people who want to watch that sort of thing can find their own means of doing so like going to an adult store, it's that easy.

People have the right to not be exposed at all to that sort of thing in their own homes. Children shouldn't be whether they choose to or not and I doubt many of them would use the "off" switch.

All I can say is all I have seen has been the previews of the show, I guess there is an option of putting it on at a later time, I think it's what? at 9.30 now? Maybe push it back to 11.30pm...it is a half solution.

Fair enough, but if you have kids of an age where you wouldn't want them to watch it, then don't let them. It comes down to a thing called "parental supervision".

Young kids should be in bed by 9:30, not watching TV.

Oh, and despite AndrewBolt's definition, I don't agree that it's pornography. If that's porn, how would you define what happened on good 1970's shows such as "the box", "number 96" and "Alvin Purple"?

Late sounds good, but I haven't seen it either. Will have to have a look next time it's on.

I guess it really depends on which age group you are fighting to not see it, at the time slot mainly the high school kids would be still allowed up, and if they want to watch they'll find a way, either by getting a friend to download it or tape it elsewhere. I don't think anyone under 18 should watch a show like this but it's very hard to stop the teenagers from watching especially if they have their own television sets.

Stopping the younger kids from watching can be easier.

C'mon, it's rated MA, not R. Therefore 15 and up.

If parents don't want their 15 year olds watching it, good luck stopping them. Rolling Eyes They'll be getting a lot worse at school off friends via bluetooth on their mobile phones, by dodging the firewall on the school intranet by loading on Firefox, sneakig into Dad's room and copying those DVD's he bought from the sex shop or any number of other ways.

I was just saying the age groups, I mean it's going to be tough to stop most from 13 up from watching it if they really wanted to watch it. I cannot really comment seeing as my parents had a talk about the movies and why they would and wouldn't let us watch a certain movie, though we were younger and watching horror movies...in this day and age it's going to be hard getting kids to not watch shows like this....with the availability on-line and other areas to it.

I guess for those 13-16 you would have to ban the viewing of any TV at that time, or viewing of that station, or tell them to get to bed...or something...and if you can maybe make sure there was no access to Ten at that time, other then that it'd be hard.
