Nice point Nomad. i've got an ass full of splinters on this one because I do agree to a point with tess and Omars views.
The more high profile people who happen to be gay, "out" themselves, the less interesting it becomes and the more general acceptance it generates.
that does not mean that people have an obligation to declare their sexuality for the greater good or public interest or whatever and no one else should push them because it is no one elses business.
Because of his age, it reminds me to a degree of a kid I know. Bout 19. He's a friend of my neighbour and his mum. I quite like the kid and made the observation to his friends mum one night that led to a conversation about how we both think he's gay but either isn't sure or hasn't accepted it himself. Hence some erratic behaviour.Whatever side the kid bats for, he'll eventually realise he has some good friends who don't care either way. Thope is only a young bloke too who has had to grow up in the public eye which much make it all the more difficult.

We met these guys a few weeks ago who said that they're friend was gay.. We believed them straight away, and we're so proud of him for being so young and open about it!! Happily dancing on the podium to all these retro 80s songs! My friend is like "Yep, he's gay. No doubt about it!"
Later on, we asked him about it, and he was like " Huh? Who told you that?"
His friends were in the background, pissing themselves laughing!! The poor guy!! Apparently, he is a chick magnet, so they needed to divert our attention off of him.
But, in the end, it all worked in his favour, because we just all loved him more then, and they all realised that their little prank, benefited him and not them haha!
