She was rapt when you read her C'ARN THE PIES sign at the winners circle a couple of weeks ago. |

I can't believe how flippantly dismissive some people can be, this is A MOVIE, that has made it on THE BIG SCREEN, NATIONALLY!
What ever you think of the concept of 'Joffa' and the celebrity sports fan you have to give credit where credit is due. Chris, Shane and Joff have done something pretty special to have been given the opportunity to take it this far.
And it's friggin home grown so lets back it all the way.
I guess if it was a movie about Bill Murray's journey as a Quinnipiac University fan then it would make it more watchable?...because he is a Hollywood big shot?

I don't want to necessarily drag her out of school for it though, somehow her teacher (ESS supporter) wouldn't see the funny side of it....

Hope it gets released on DVD as well. Should be a big hit here in Victoria. Local characters always make great Aussie films. Just look at the Club! I love Aussie films. Breaker Morrant! Thorn Birds, Against the Wind, Big Steal! This could rank with these! Love to hear aussies still making local content about local people.
