^^Yeah, I'm assuming it will be White in for Goldsack.

Not convinced that will happen unless Witts or Grundy are dropped.

...and so Goldsack misses through injury AGAIN, meaning he won't hit form for at least another month.

After reading the VFL report I'm really not surprised by Kennedy being named.
Would live to see him spend a bit of time through the middle.

I'm not surprised. Just glad to see it, because I really want to see him stepping it up. Would be a good addition if we could get him playing forward/midfield.

With White being named though, I'd guess he's playing. We have played White, Grundy, Witts and Goldsack before. Still, I wouldn't be surprised if we rested a senior player in a late change and Broomhead or Kennedy came in, they do need to be playing soon.

Still no Broomhead it seems, though we have had late changes for both of the last two weeks.

Great to see Kennedy as an emergency, hasn't been in the mix for a little while. He's one we need to seem something from soon.

He's still a chance, this is only a squad. 3 emergencies will be named at 5pm tomorrow night.

Some were suggesting Broomhead in for Fasolo. Fas has been named on the extended bench, so that's still a fair possibility.

Goldy being rested?

Would rather a small than two rucks, but want to see Grundy and Witts get game time. Catch-22...

Goldy was getting treatment on his knee during the game on Monday. With the 6 day turnaround, its not surprising he didn't come up.

Yep. Perhaps we are resting guys with niggles??
Player management?

Swanny got a rest the other week, as did Ball.

Yeah I reckon this is terrific player management. We can do this when we have the depth to cover the players with niggles. Good job pies.

Goldsack has had a good year with his versatility a real bonus when our two back went down against the eagles.

He landed badly when tackled early against the demons and I think giving him a rest this week is a good move. He will be needed against the Hawks!

He does seem to need a week or two to get going after a long period out - (most players do) but I suspect this will be a short stint and will actually help rather than hurt his game against the Hawks - which is the game we will need him to play well.

Did you see how many tackles he laid? Amazing.

Better job than the WCE who have watched Glass retire mid-season and have declared they need to rest Cox this week to avoid a similar fate after 104 consecutive games and doing virtually every training session.
