Can any Qld/G/C posters please tell me if I would need my warm winter woolies for the sunshine state? I need to take as less as possible to make it cheaper travel!!

And Queenslanders thought they had already suffered through a cyclone Larry.

Please wont someone think of the children.

For us Brisbanites, the evenings / nights in the last week have been freaking freezing. But for you southerners, 8 degrees is probably shorts and t-shirts weather. Laughing

The days are gorgeous though ... 23/24 degrees

perhaps you should consider the c-string.

don't forget to pack your tea pot.

it gets bloody cold once the sun disappears. don't be caught out and turn up to metricon in t-shirt and shorts unless you have an ample girth to keep the woodfires burning. Laughing

The only wet T shirt I will be wearing is if my cuppa tea spills all over my shirt!! So I better keep my precious pot of tea at home!!
As for the girth, lets just say that I have sufficient to survive a bushfire!!
Looking forward to a great long weekend up there incorporating my mad magpie son's 18th birthday. Hope the mighty 'pies win it just for him... Twisted Evil Laughing

I came up yesterday from minus degree Canberra. Days are still mild/warm up here, but the nights are definitely cooler.

You won't need heavy winter woolies though.

calf = dropped.

was kind of hoping for another big in but overall happy with the changes and confident of victory.

We are 27 dollars for the flag on betfair and I'll be having some of that. Not because I think we'll win it, but because I'm pretty confident we'll be a lot shorter than that at some stage e.g. after we've rolled Hawthorn in Round 23.

Go Pies
