Nearly 500 games as a player and coach and so pleased the players found and channeled the energy to get the job done for Nathan Buckley today. Hoping they can keep building from here.

I need a shower. I’ve just done as you said and I found this gem below.

"free kick Collingwood"

I don't understand the rules at the best of times, but I was absolutely lost this evening

Clearly the snow bunnies have no idea about the game.

haha, saw that myself, i actually replied to them, said "Wasnt the free kick count 27-17, the Deeeees way ? " What a moron. ! Laughing Surprised

Oh hello Mark "lineament sniffer" Korda who seemed to find the circle for the song yet couldn't find the head table at the presser last Wednesday. Flog.

Pendlebury 20 contested possessions. Remarkable.
hell of a captains game, brilliant

And some folks, and commentators say, Pendles if done, dusted, gone. Oh no hes not, he has all the traits of a champion who could play another 3 seasons, at least, albeit he may need a rest on the forward line, forward pocket sometimes. Great player, could well be our version of Burgoyne.! Very Happy

Collingwood won the clearances by 10, 34 to 24. They won centre clearances 14 to 9 (and I think they won 4 of the 5 in the last quarter) and stoppage clearances 20 to 15.

Clearances - De Goey 6, Crisp, Pendlebury and Sidebottom 5, Daicos 3.

Centre clearances - De Goey 5, Sidebottom 3, Pendlebury 2 and 5 others 1 each.

He was in the room for the press conference, but off camera. A deliberate decision to put the CEO and Wright either side of Bucks.

BazBoy, that was a premiership win in 1958, and this was just a standard match for 4 points. But in both games we were rank outsiders.

But, it was our great coach's last game and we were playing the team on the top of the ladder. And so whilst I wouldn't compare the 2 games, this one was important. Today showed that the future holds a lot. Well done team and Buckley!

Lynch 23-20 Gawn 😎

I think the better part is that he kept Gawn's hitouts to advantage right down and was involved very positively himself. The hitout-to-advantage stat isn't available immediately post game - but I will add it here when it is available.

A bittersweet victory.

Good luck Bucks in your future endeavours and if you do coach again I will be barracking for you to win that elusive premiership.

Midfield was fantastic tonight: JDG, Pendles, Crisp, along with Daicos. Lynch did so well, in defiance of all expectations. Our tackling pressure was through the roof. Was also very pleasantly shocked at how dangerous we look when we spear the ball forward.
Darcy Cameron is establishing himself as well.
The entire team lifted in an inspirational tribute to Bux.
Well done Pies. Really proud.
