| The Bangladesh captain just appealed for a run-out at the non-striker's end when the bowler didn't touch the ball, even though the bowler told Marsh he didn't touch it and called Marsh back. Strange, rather unsporting, stuff. |

| That was the highest ever successful run chase in a World Cup, apparently. They did it easily - as Ricky Ponting said, they didn't have to get out of second gear. |

| Pakistan all out for 244. So, NZ scrape into 4th spot with 5 wins. Their "prize" is to play India in their semi-final at Mumbai (Wankhede) on Wednesday at 7.30 pm AEDST. Australia's semi against South Africa is at Eden Gardens in Kolkata 24 hours later - and then the two winners travel for the Final in Ahmedabad at 7.30 pm on Sunday at 7.30 pm AEDST. |
