We had no choice but to play him against the top team, the depth is not good enough. This week however we can cover him.

No excuses Culprit - Do the crime and Do the time.

MM let everyone down by making exceptions - should have both been dropped and played players who DID follow the team rules.

Was a good artcile over the weekend by McLeod saying how the Crows are ALL trying to improve everything on and off the field and leave no stone unturned.

Basically laughed at the Taz and BJ debacle and basically said that shows the difference between the Crows and the Pies - they are all working together to find ways to improve.

We have one of our highest paid players that -
1. Breaks the team rules and gets away with it,
2. Has to ask his manager how one of his other players improved so much !!!!!

This is p*sssweak for a player that will in his 10th year in the AFL system next year.

Eddie put all his eggs in the No. 20 basket and ended up with an omlette.

If we had won there would have been a different feeling all round. We lost and now everyone wants blood. He is guilty of being out late. Hardly a hanging offence and if McLeod went out the week before a final and got caught in the same sort of situation, he would be playing as well. It happens week in and week out, it just gets highlighted because of the club they play for. The media are in a feeding frenzy over it. I would give him a weeks break to get him focussed and this is the week to do it.

The problem does not go away.

MM has now made a mistake - no player(s) are bigger than the Club.

Break the team rules and you should be dropped - plain and simple.

Even more concerning is the article on the AFl site -

Where Tarrant has to ask his manager how Fev got better -

As his manager said 'its not rocket science'.

Must have been rocket science for Paul Connors for a fair while considering both of his 'star' clients suffered the same fate.

There was also a good one where Neil Craig said he would have done exactly the same as Mick.

AT -

Correct except one will will the Coleman medal and the other wears no. 20.

One woke up to himself and the other is in a coma.

Yet - Tarrant still had to ask his manager how Fev. turned it around - get him a tape of a game and watch him run, chase and tackle.

As for goalkicking Fev is mile in front of Tarrant.

More like Tarr-aint-gonna-do-the-hard-work.

I have no problem with criticism of players. I would have dropped Taz and BJ.

I agree that backslappers are a problem. Even worse are people who backslap one week, and then bag the next. People who are fickle. People who want to turn on players like Buckley. In other words, people like you.

Whats worse is people who put people on a pedastile. Bucks was a champion player but not a champion finisher something Voss and Hird were able to achieve. Anytime anyone says anthing at all, you make it into the biggest DramaQueen show ever. Each player is not the full deal and has his faults. You have to accept that and move on.

Bucks is a great finisher except in front of goal. His kicking for goal is average and nowhere near the level of his disposal in general play.

That is criticism RWNR. Nothing wrong with criticism. The problem is with stupid comments like Bucks is a loser.

We lost anyway, at least if he had dropped them they would have to look their team mates in the eye and know they may have cost them a top four place... but playing them we lost both the game and the lesson to the rest of the team, especially the kids who now are in no doubt that preferential treatment and unprofessionalism are hallmarks of the club

Wait till we lose against Essenscum and Tazza has been carved up by Fletcher. Then we will know "For Whom the Bells Toll".
