You guys are making a mountain out of a molehill, The old age prinicpal must never die and that is if you wrong your brother say SORRY and move on. We will be better for it. No point Dale ( culprit ) trying to compare with other contiries refusal to apologise for past wrong doings, What relevance has that got with our past issues with indigenous people ?

We are saying sorry where is the offence in that ?

Or rather maybe we are offended that at long last the white man is apologising to his inferior brother the black fella ? would that be the general consensus for those objecting to the apology?

Im confused but im delighted to say the apology is going to happen, it gives me a nice warm feeling Wink

Colonised lol, you mean invaded I think

Why did the current board of Hardies Industries apologise to Bernie Banton, after all they had nothing to do with the previous Boards decisions

PR; the same thing motivating Rudd.

Whilst this is an important step, both Hardies Industries and Rudd refuse to actually do anything to make the situation on the ground for victims of their policies any better.

Rudd's doing the right thing. A great moment in Australia's History.

Amazing that more people do not realise this simple point. Although, I am still skeptical over exactly how important tomorrow will be in the scheme of things.

The Prime Minister has invited all previous leaders of our nation to the sorry ceremony next week.
Guess which racist is not going?

Bob Hawke?
Paul Keating?

Hawke will be there Tuesday...but not available to attend Wednesday.

So out of our last 3 PMs...none have confirmed attendance.

Edit: Sorry i should clarify that, Paul Keatings office said his schedule was still being finalised for next week.

Well, now would you like to tell me who the only living ex-PM was that did not attend?
Just for the record mind you.

Howard.

I wasnt making it up to prove a point, i was just stating what i'd seen their staff quoted as saying. At the time i said it, it was accurate. They changed their mind, good on 'em.

I think the google king 'Frank' already posted this.
At least we now know where he plagiarised it from.
