Shitty defending lead to that first goal for Sunderland and the second we were just asleep. Need to address that in January going forward, not sure where Cisse fits into the team going forward has been struggling this season.

Work this one out .....

"Goalkeeper Asmir Begovic sensationally opened the scoring after 13 seconds before Southampton hit back to secure a 1-1 draw at Stoke City.
In windy conditions for the Barclays Premier League match at the Britannia Stadium, a clearance from Begovic bounced over opposite number Artur Boruc to give Stoke a remarkable early lead."

I remember Tim Howard the Everton keeper scored at Goodison against Bolton a couple of seasons ago. Same deal, a big hoof forwards that bounces just in front & buggers up the keeper.
The beauty of the weekend's version was that it was inside the first 14 seconds of the game. Only a handful of outfielders have ever scored so quick, let alone a keeper. Doubt we'll ever see the like again.

Beating the Pool was a good start, United's the next big test, a win there would be awesome but I'd take a draw.

Despite Man Utd's poor recent form, it's still a massive test for Arsenal. If you win this week, Man U can say goodbye to their title chances and Arsenal will really start believing that this may be the season where they finally win the title after 10 years.

The next three games for Arsenal may shape their whole season. Great win against Dortmund in the UCL last night as well.

How's this for a stat after the Southampton Hull match.

Rickie Lambert joined 3rd division Southampton in 2009. Since then he's taken 33 spot kicks in all competitions and never missed. 33 goals from 33 shots. That's got to be some sort of record.
