That doesn't help, of course. But mostly it's because she has all the charm of a concrete mixer and the sex appeal of a lamp post. One could only close one's eyes and think of England. Or my former heartthrob Hanna who is probably older than I am now (not that age matters in these things, if you've got it, you've got it) and certainly only interested in girls. Maybe if I had a little operation?

Marsh - give him a go and see what he can do.
Reid - Play him forward to add some structure to our dysfunctional forward line.
Out:
Toooovveeey - just not performing, doesn't take the game on like he used to.
Seedsman - This guy has mountains of potential but is not committed to putting in the hard work or doing the 1%'s.
Selection is not exactly like for like but should get us over the line.

Just a small piece of otherwise irrelevant statistical trivia, but win this game and we move to within 3 games of squaring the win-loss ledger with this mob (currently 125 wins to 121 in their favour, with 4 draws).
There's also the small matter of keeping our dwindling finals chances alive, so plenty of motivation to be had, before you account for good old fashioned pride and bragging rights...

| I can't believe these buggers are still ahead of us on the win front (four??!!). Haven't we won the last 10 or something like? I don't particularly care about making finals, but I do care about beating this mob. Didn't like the way they were talking last night on TV. Their year has been a shambles so now they intend making amends by beating us!!?? How about instead of imitating us by stealing all our players and officials they come up with an original thought or game plan. Not that I care. The worry I have is that our current team is physically underdone against other teams and Carlton are physically more mature and will attack us like the way Melbourne did last week and hope we crack. The flip side to Carlton is they cleared away more of their talent and kept the hacks. On talent alone we are miles ahead of them which should make up for fewer games and kilograms. I expect an easy win. 30 points + |
