Taylor Adams was on 360 and a point was raised ,being the pressure in the final few minutes had players not normally known to fumble did just that

No sooner did you get pocession you were grabbed ,knocked and ball spilt

With the closeness this season of almost all teams week in & week out we better get used to it and do what we did on Thursday because tight games demand it—standing up in tackles ,lighting fast action to lock ball in to give an opportunity to goal or deprive the opposing side the option

That five or ten minutes if we can replicate it all games will see us win tight ones

It’s not an obsession with Wills it’s based on his block of work in VFL and if one watched games thru Easter / Anzac one would see how clearances in our case was a shade off compared to other teams

Sier was a player who lifted our clearance rate last year but he’s missing

Wills would be close to a senior game. He’s finally got some continuity in his footy and at some point the club will want to know if he’s a boom or a bust.
He’s not best 22 but we won’t have our best 22 available at any one time anyway.
Personally, I hope he gets a chance, then it’s all up to him.

fair points. If his reserve form remains strong, i'm sure they wont de-list him without giving him one more chance to prove himself (whether that is one, two or three weeks will likely be up to him). I guess history is littered with guys that light it up at the reserves level but arent AFL calibre. Very few make it, but in fairness, some do. Look at Mihocek!

Checkers prime example of a very good footballer getting the best from his best

He and I would hope everyone that puts on the black and White has the work. ethics to play for the team without any applause

I sort of agree but geez.He needs to start clunking his marks. He's dropping everything ATM.

Jonas misses again. Robbie Gray is out and they are still without Dixon, Watts and Hartlett. That’s some talent on the sidelines, so there are no excuses.
Their young blokes have been very good but that doesn’t equate to experience or mature bodies.
I don’t think there will be that much in it but I reckon we will look comfortable getting it done ( if you know what I mean )

Huh? He had one quiet game, he was excellent the game before.

He's a role player, not a star and won't have a big impact every week. I don't see his spot as being in any jeopardy, he doesn't really have a rival. The biggest likelihood is that we'd go small if he were dropped, playing Cox and Reid together isn't a great idea.

But playing Reid in a forced absence of Cox just one option, maybe not the best but one option nevertheless

That I feel would hi light how important Mason is with giving Grundy a chop out amongst other jobs he does

The thing having Roughead leave back line from the important back line tall role to part time ruck worries me

Still Reid and Wells for that matter need a further VFL exposure

An interesting point on our website whilst discussing the upcoming game

With Elliot return Collingwood will have their full compliment of forward’s on the ground allowing De Goey to spend more time on the ball

WHE who incidentally played a good first up will be better for the run

Stevo ,Elliot ,Hoskin,Thomas and Checkers good value around goal

They'll probably bring:

In: Aish and Elliott

Out: Greenwood and Thomas

How far away is Mayne from returning? His great form seems to have been too easily forgotten...
