Hooper drives the boat Chief 🦈

Underrated brilliance in this post. The only thing that would have improved this is not including the youtube link.

Josh Gabelich has reported that paperwork has been lodged for McStay.

Lions will get pick 35 as compensation.

Make of that what you will regarding contract size and $$$

^ Could be wrong but does that suggest a salary of closer to 500K a year rather than 600K a year which has been widely reported.

^ From the comments I have seen, that seems to be the case, and from what I've seen or read somewhere, the compo picks take into account more things than money, like BnF finishes AA seasons and things like that. Happy to be corrected if thats wrong though.

Compensation picks should not be based on where you finish on the ladder. If Brissy finish last they get pick 20.

Yes it’s a 2nd round pick but probably should be around 25-27.

Sonny Hooper, ageing stuntman, played by Burt Reynolds?

Definitely Stephen Hooper former number 1 pick taken by the Cats.
It all adds up. He was an absolute dud back then, so he couldn’t be any worse now.
