Yes,I think so too. His voice seems to go up about five decibels when the other team is doing well, and then down accordingly when we’re doing well. |

Most of the 2nd half when they floated about 5 goals behind, he kept going on saying inside 30 and teams are gettable garbage. Forgot to mention only 1 team does that consistently. _________________ Human behavioural studies suggest people who use a lot of swear words tend to be more honest & trustworthy. |

He is an annoying commentator, given to hyperbole and theatrics but doubt that he's still bitter about 1990.
One needs to remember that he's still sought after by The Club for various hosting gigs, and as recently as last year was the host at the Copeland.
He may be a lot of things, but certainly not stupid enough to bite a hand that feeds him!! |

There are many other better commentators in front of him. He’s well past his use by date. Anthony Hudson is much better.
Bradshaw us a throwback to the boys club. I prefer Daisy Pierce’s observations but also like Jones the ex Melbourne player. Sanderson on SEN should also be used for additional comments.
Bring back Tony Charlton and Doug Heywood I say. They were commentators who unlike BT didn’t treat the audiences as stupid nor feel a need to be “ shouty”. _________________ “I even went as far as becoming a Southern Baptist until I realised they didn’t keep ‘em under long enough” Kinky Friedman |

It was International Carlton Day today, the G was full of every geriatric ex Blues player and cash-in-a-brown-paper-bag billionaire supporter they could wheel out for their grand final. Made the win so much sweeter. And I bet Vossy is sleeping with one eye open and his back to a wall tonight. |

You will never hear (read) of me bagging our boys. Never. |
You’re a good one Donny- was perplexed when saw the thread!
BT is a caricature/panto act- he hams it up- tried to make the game interesting when it isn’t- stumbles over words/phrases, stuffs up players names and tries really hard to show he isn’t bias towards Collingwood
He should be relived of commentary duties and simply do boundary riding/roaming Brian - light entertainment
Sadly, he is better than most other commentators |

Taylor is bad but Brayshaw is way worse. It's profoundly irritating that we have to listen to him commentating half the matches every week. I dearly hope that when the next TV rights deal comes through these two are put out to pasture and we can get someone decent like Whateley instead. _________________ "Every time we witness an injustice and do not act, we train our character to be passive in its presence." – Julian Assange |

The general level of commentating in AFL is poor when compared to other continuous flowing sports eg socccer, rugby union. US sports whilst different generally go to another higher level again.
BT and his peers talk too much about umpre deciisons, irrelevancies (refer to BT's comments in R23 last year when he wastrying to expiain in commentary about potential drawn games and who plays week one finals when Maynard took the ball and kicked it to Pendlebury before the winning goal). He also did it in the first game of Carlton last year (r11) going on about a high tackle on Sam Walsh.
Special comments are in some cases more special needs comments (ie Richo) _________________ Buzz

Special comments are a need but only a minute fraction of experienced commentators have the disciplined nature and self control to say when needs to be said succinctly and then SHUT UP. |

By far the best special comments commenter over the weekend was Patrick Dangerfield. He actually added quality to the broadcast and was fair. I like Abbey Holmes interviews, but think Daisy Pierce has a terrible voice for broadcasting (as do most females and Brayshaw - sorry). |

It’s such a badly written article, the quotes are saying BT is biased AGAINST Collingwood 🤦♂️ but somehow they wrote it he’s biased against the opposition. JFC, |
