Port are banged up no doubt and it's why I was hoping the home ground advantage would see them home tonight before we blew them away next week.

Oh well, if we aren't good enough to beat GWS on the G we aren't good enough anyway.

It's pretty basic really.

Go Pies!

Turn it up, Port are an injured and battered team, having to play unfit players, and it shows. we will be a vastly different opponent to Port. Confused

Sure, but GWS are the opposite. Would you honestly expect us to be so destructive of Port in Adelaide ? The AFL tilted the playing field when GWS started up and maintained concessions right up to this year. In an even competition, advantages accumulate powerfully, as we have seen today.

I hope we win next week, of course, but watching this today I fear the threat has changed dramatically.

yeh but Fly is watching this and taking notes, there is no way GWS players will be able to literally waltz thru our centre and backs like this, no way will we give that Toby and co so much lattitude as they got then. Plus I cannot see their backs doing that shit to our forwards, be a vastly different story.

Port are poo, have been for 8 weeks.
GWS look scary but there’s not much pressure on the ball. They don’t defend transition well.

It’s the Giants.

Time to start a pre-match thread.

The Prelim Finals are the top 2 teams versus the in form team.

GWS had the softest finals draw out of all the teams.
St Kilda at the G and Port are terrible even though at home...

if Swans didnt get a draw in the season then they would have finished ahead of them and GWS would have lost the Carlton week 1 and we wouldnt even be talking about them.

im confident of the pies at the G against them next week.

This could be argued as correct...

Swans? They got gifted a win by a dipshit goal umpire who specsavers wouldn't even piss on, at the expense of Adelaide.
They also got a gift win against Pauperoos at the death thanks to some bullshit interchange breach we have never seen the likes of before!

Adelaide should have made the finals, and NOT Pink Ducks.

GWS would have lost to Carlton week 1?
The same Carlton they wiped the floor with at Tesltra Dump in the final round?

It won't be a case of just turning up and winning; our game will be put through it's paces for four full quarters i'd expect...
Will most likely come down to clearance work, and set-up around the stoppages.

That's the issue we need to correct Dyso, we haven't played 4 quarters for ages, and when this issue is raised the usual attack dogs label you a troll!

You’re a troll bro Dyso 😝😜

Seriously, you are right on the correct page. We need to have a team goal of winning every quarter. Play consistent football and kick accurately. Far easier said than done but I think this is an realistic approach to take. We will win.

The same Carlton who had nothing to play for, win they finish 5th, lose they finish 5th whilst GWS had everything to play for.

Yup. Same.

Port have been fading since their game against us.
