Here's one for those small number of people who seem to dislike Tony Abbot. Don't say I don't do anything for you.

http://www.news.com.au/technology/online/chrome-extension-stop-tony-meow-replaces-tony-abbott-with-cat-photos/story-fnjwmwrh-1226819476673

Someone has made an extension for the Chrome browser that replaces any photo of Tony Abbott with photos of Kittens.

That way you can read the article or whatever without having to look at him.

There is of course an inherent risk, that some people infuriated by reading about Abbott may come to associate Tone with the kitten and go and deliver a leather enema to the nearest unsuspecting moggy Wink Laughing Laughing Laughing

More appropriate but still an improvement.

No his is a pigs arse. Wink

Actually I'm starting to think poor old blob fish looks more like Joe Hockey.

This one below is more in keeping with the politics of Tone.

Watch out poor here I come.

From an email I received today:

All drugs have two names, a trade name and generic name.

Example, the trade name is Tylenol and it's generic name is Acetaminophen.. Aleve is also called Naproxen.

Amoxil is also called Amoxicillin and Advil is also called Ibuprofen.

The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra.

After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin.
Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course, Ibepokin.

Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer..
It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one.

Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the names of 'cocktails', 'highballs' and just a good old-fashioned 'stiff drink'.

Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: MOUNT & DO.

Thought for the day: There is more money being spent on breast implants and Viagra today than on Alzheimer's research.

This means that by 2020, there should be a large elderly population with perky boobs and huge erections and absolutely no recollection of what to do with them.

All-right then, Im allowed some adolescent humour every now & then Wink

Realising that a former deputy leader of the Liberal Party (under John Howard back in the '80s) is not only a member of the video store I work at but seems to like my taste in movies (he's been going through my personal film list and seeing things in order). I'm not going to let this get in the way of our relationship. Laughing

Lol! Try about 10-20 years earlier. I'd never even heard of him until I looked him up. A bit before my time (literally). Smile

Bingo. Smile

I just gave him Hiroshima Mon Amour tonight. Resnais was (and is) quite the old leftist, so it'll be interesting to see what he thinks. Smile

(I think he was just deputy leader of the Libs, so I suppose he was never deputy opposition leader.)

He wouldn't qualify for the Libs now being gay & a true conservative. He'd be anti-IPA that's for sure.

It's kind of excruciating, but this Helen Razer radio interview from about five years ago still makes me laugh.

http://www.abc.net.au/mediawatch/transcripts/0831_razer.mp3

I can't believe she lost her job because of it. I mean, she didn't exactly handle it well, but it was pretty entertaining radio nonetheless.
