I have some Postives and Negatives from the Selections:
Postive:
Oxley, Varcoe and De Goey are good users of the Ball
De Goey is Debuting as he is good enough
Negatives:
De Goey will be sub when it should be Blair or Sinclair
Blair and Sinclair are Playing when they are not Good Enough but Will play every possible game as there Bucks Favourites
Not Playing Gault will mean we have 2 Tall Forward and we will Bomb it to Cloke

Sinclair is our best small defender and an obvious selection.
The concern is our midfield. It's weak. There's only two teams I'm sure we are better than at the moment: St Kilda and Melbourne. Hopefully that builds over the season.

Looks like wet weather, so this team will be picked with that in mind.
Agree our mid field looks weak, particularly against rockliffe, reddan, beams, christensen, zorko, aish, rich.
As for Sinclair, lets just cut him some slack for a while. He has looked pretty good in the practice matches and is finally injury free. Very good one on one and has pace. He deserves first grab at the position, for mine. |

Kennedy should be in this side.
He took some heavy knocks in the preseason games which showed he is willing to keep putting his head over the ball.
He has some zip and energy about him which he displayed in a couple of games last year when subbed on.
If he continues to be snubbed or subbed by the coach in the coming weeks his development will go nowhere.

Rubbish, ultra conservative selections that favours tried and true failures over emerging talent.
Blair can't exert any scoreboard impact and sure as shit can't rotate to any effect though the midfield so why does he get selected ahead of Kennedy?
Broomhead cooling his friggin heels in a seconds practise match alongside Freeman really shows that the coach has his eye on the future doesn't it?
Karnezis? What's the point if you don't play him at senior level? Why don't you just admit you stuffed up trading for him then?
Blood the kids for (mates with) sake because this line up isn't serving the best interests of our club in any way, shape or form going forward.
