Well, well, well!
We've gone from Minor Prems in MMs last 2 years,
to 4th,
to 7th,
to 11th,
to...? 11th? 12th 14th?
Hmmm... where's this trend leading?
Are we after a couple of no.1 picks?
I WILL NOT be told that we don't have a side that can beat anyone because we do. NONE of the best sides have beaten us before the last quarter, often the last few minutes. They can't beat us, but we can beat ourselves with the greatest of ease. It is frankly ridiculous that we once again find ourselves evicted from the finals, when we should be among the top 4.
The Reason?
We can't kick straight.
Why?
Lack of confidence.
Whose job is to instill said confidence?
The Boot Studder, obviously!
So... It is glaringly obvious that the way forward is to find ourselves a new Boot Studder at the end of next season. No point rushing these things!

A what point (no pun intended) do these poor kickers take some personal responsibility and do something about their kicking? Bucks can't kick it for them. But as you said we've usually been in it up to the last quarter, so it seems to be a fitness thing. Earlier this year I heard Bucks say that the kicking will improve as the fitness improves. So it sounds like he's on to it. |

Some of the stuff on here is terrible. Whether one thinks Bucks can coach or not is irrelevant, everyone is entitled to their opinion on that but to ridicule his playing career and blame him for not winning a flag is embarrassing. Mickey Gaffer has a medal, does this make him a better player than Buckley?
Buckley has won a brownlow, norm smith, 6 copeland trophies, played 260 games & was captain for 8 seasons , show some respect people.
