Bugger that mindset.

We've lost far to many Grand Finals when expected to win.

Time to get one back.

Exactly right!

I'm 2-10 in my lifetime. It's time it was 3-10

Tomorrow is going to be the longest day in recorded history. Worse than Christmas Eve when you were a kid. I'll be forcing myself not to check the replay thread too often. Certainly no more than once every minute. Well, twice maybe. Absolutely not more than four time. OK, five. But for once in my life, I'll be happy enough to start with the first quarter.

(Usually I watch the last quarter first, then all the others in order, finishing with the last again.)

BTW, thank you Nick Maxwell for coming back home!!! I am certain that your role as Man in Charge of Culture or whatever it is, has made a huge impact.

THIS IS WHY we are winning again.

Thank you Nick for your post. I have always thought that the influence of Nick Maxwell has been under-estimated, in 2010 and now!!

Best game I've seen from Adams in a long time, possibly his career. And he's had some beauties.

Agree! Huge kudos to that team of sub-coaches that has been assembled around Bucks.

For all those hung shit on Bux last year, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves. Taking us from 13th to the Grannie is the greatest turn around by any team ever!

I predicted we would destroy the Tigers and have the game won at 1/4 time and that’s what happened. We stuck it right up them and we did it without any lube. Yeeehhaaaa!

Yes, agree that we must stop and acknowledge what Bux has done. But I don't think it is just Bux. I think that our new assistant coaches have been massive, and Bux has stepped aside to some extent for them.
This triumph tonight was not the product of a single man, but of an astonishing, exhilarating and co-ordinated approach involving all coaches, and our players.
Our club is now functioning in unison on a new, unprecedented level.

Honestly, I have watched Collingwood for fifty plus years and I don't think I've ever witnessed a more sublime game than the one they played tonight.
Our stars shone , our defence shone, our lesser lights shone. What a perfect performance!!!

I do acknowledge that it has to somehow be repeated next week, but oh, let's just have a moment to soak up this brilliant team performance against the odds. It's what the Pies are all about for me. Brilliant victories against the odds. It's what keeps us going in life.
