^He’s dropping everything, except for averaging 8 marks in rounds 1-5

SEN reports Cox could be in doubt with lower leg injury

We all saw him sustain a knock then appear hampered immediately after

If Mason is out then a simple swap with Jamie Elliott. Brodie with the smalls up forward will be a dangerous combination for Port's defence.

I would be very reluctant to bring in Ben Reid. Yes he is kicking goals and taking marks, but is still moving like the titanic. Not sure what sort of resistance he would offer once the ball hits the deck.

Wills could get a call up as he has been the best of the VFL bunch to date and has a good month of form - but that would be at the expense of Greenwood or Brown (who is playing good footy).

Does Aish come in?

I noticed that Reid was playing the same role in last week's VFL match as Cox does in the seniors - key forward and second ruck.

So it will be interesting to see if he plays this role in the seniors this week.
Roughhead would be a better option as a second ruck I would think. He certainly has far more ruck experience than Ben.

Reid's form up forward in the VFL appears very solid and that's in a side that's struggling.

I have faith he can be just as effective as Cox up forward he'll just get it done it in a different manner.

The trouble I can see arising will be if he's assigned the relief ruck duties against what is arguably the best ruck combination in the competition.

Aish out may not be a bad thing - I'm hoping we get to blood a new body some time soon - although its good to have a steady lineup its round 7 already and not much sighted on a young up and comer.
