Day 5. Last day of the first test in Edgebaston (Birmingham ) England.
At the tea break:
Australia are:
5 for 183 and require 98 runs to win in the last session.
Khwaja 56 not out from 159 balls
Green 22 not out from 54 balls.
There’s hope but it’s slow going and as noted by Marvelous it’s (friggin) tense.

I’m afraid that might be it.
A tired Kwahja plays on to Stokes. Angled bat poor shot. 65 off 197. But not his fault. Smith, Labashagne and Head have a lot to answer for.

Highly improbable for Australia to win.

I turned Gem95 off about 3.30am when we needed 50, and Carey just gave Root another soda. That broke me

I fell asleep for almost 2hrs with the cricket in an ear bud..... commentators getting excited over that dropped catch woke me up...
