I used to go duck shooting on rice crops. Farmers would give me the shotgun shells. Black ducks aren't bad eating, wood ducks not as good but still not bad.

Swoop.
I drove to Longford on Friday and back home Sunday night.
Both times as I was passing Morwell I yelled out g'day to Swoop.
No bloody reply!

Should have gone to the Red Rooster! We were there for about an hour last year on the way to Lakes Entrance, but no bloody sign of him. How big is Morwell anyway?

Japan Kills 200 Pregnant Minke Whales
Flouting an international ruling, Japan resumed minke whaling for scientific purposes during breeding season.
Japan has killed 333 minke whalesincluding more than 200 pregnant femalesas part of this years Antarctic whale hunt, according to the countrys Institute for Cetacean Research.
On Wednesday, four ships returned from their 115-day expedition to conduct scientific whaling activities. The hunt was in blatant disregard of the International Court of Justices 2014 ruling that challenged the scientific legitimacy of the program.
