If they use the same trick in the bedroom, the beds are bade from foam blocks. Stack em up and put sheets and stuff on and looks just like a bed but much easier to carry in and out.

Also smaller than a standard double bed so makes the room look bigger. Wink

Yeah they use small double beds and double bedside tables (2 draws next to each other each) in the master. In my daughters room they put the double and I was like what? The rooms to small, they put a tall thin bedside table each side and the room looks twice the size! The third bedroom is big, and the kids furniture in there looks amazing.

Looking good. Who'd you use for the stylist/furnishings?

I worked for a few months in 2007 for a mob called "temporarily yours" based around Richmond who put temporary furniture into places and styled them up for sale.

God, what a pig that 2nd tenant was! I don't know how people can live like that!

What made me happy is winning another spot on our head office's annual overseas trip comp. Runs for 5 months & top 8 business managers go. They've done it 4 times now, and this is the 4th I'll have been on Smile
Off to Queenstown for a week mid Oct. That'll make it Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia & now NZ I've been to, all expenses paid & they put on an AMAZING trip! No expense spared. Sometimes the looonnggg hours pay off (and the working on public holidays, like today Evil or Very Mad )

The Rugby World Cup Very Happy Cool

And could things get any worse for Tony Abbott? First, he gets the arse from the PM chair. Then, his rugby team gets the arse from the World Cup! Laughing Laughing

Out of curiosity, what's the best way of getting urine out of carpet?

I'm asking for a friend...

Take a dump on it.

That will mask the smell and cover the stain.

In that house, rip out every inch of carpet, and the curtains (yes three little boys peeing I curtains too!)

At home with a dog with heart disease and a bit of a bladder problem, use lots of toilet paper to soak up as much as possible, then use either tribe remover or I find white vinegar good. I have a good Hoover carpet cleaner, if he has a couple of accidents I just get that out

We actually have a steam cleaner, so I was thinking of giving that a run.

This wasn't even our fault - a friend brought her 2-year-old son over and let him run around naked for a while after his bath. I thought it was a recipe for disaster but felt bad saying anything. Can't say I was surprised, though; he used to pee in the house all the time when we used to live with her (we had floorboards then). Next time I think we're going to follow a 'nappies on at all times indoors' policy. Mad

This really shouldn't be in the "what made you happy today" thread.

Hehe

Don't stress too much if it's an isolated incident. Just stick loo paper on it, and press down. Then use more clean paper, you will soon know when you've got it all, then steam clean it. Cheers

Kids running round with no nappies belong with the dogs, in the back yard. Razz
