Haha. Well, ok, I'll expand a little.

The event in question was the 'Saints and Sinners Ball', an event held at a King Street nightclub about once every three months. I'd never heard of it before, but a friend said she was going and so, after some online investigation, Lola and I decided to give it the old college try.

It's not exactly a sex club - most of the people there were happy to stay on the dance floor in their underwear or fishnets - but there was still a fair amount of copulation taking place around the joint. We didn't go that far, but we did end up engaging in some publicly inappropriate behaviour with our former housemate - that was very hot. Also our first real steps outside the boundaries of monogamy in over five years together.

I was dressed as a satyr, by the way (or 'faun', for people more familiar with Narnia than Greek mythology) - got a couple of plastic horns from a $2 shop viking helmet and stuck them through a mullet wig, plus a headband with pointy animal ears. I was too lazy to make myself furry legs, so I just wore a pair of sheer tights with ugboots. The effect was uncanny...

Probably a strange question but what kind of music do they play at an event like this? Shocked

Pretty normal stuff. Bit of cool '80s stuff, bit of crappy 2000s club music. Whatever has a beat, really. I didn't notice it too much, so it can't have been too bad. Razz

AFL Masters National Carnival wrapped up with Tasmania winning the 55s, 35/40s, and another grade. The standard of football was quite good considering the age and the size of the guys running about.

Tasmanian Football Council, and the guys playing loved my photos, apparently the "official photographers" photos weren't very good. A lot of complaints from the people there I am not sure how many he ended up selling.

I am quite happy with the work I did without earning a cent from them, he had no clue how to set up his camera for the day, I hope next time it's in Tasmania I'm given the job. I'd love to get along again to it, love the Master Rules.

Top day

Had a house full tonight, son and daughter both came over for dinner with their partners plus a ring in, and when I rang mum she'd actually bit the bullet and put the house on the market up in Toc.

Cooked up a couple of casseroles plus pasta for the horde, daughter just about finished cleaning out the rest of her bedroom so it's almost ready for me to move in there while I renovate mine, all is good with world.

I got a phone call today about doing the Relive the Rivalry Challenge game on the weekend, they want my photos. Plus they've given me first crack at doing headshots for their website.

It might also mean some money because the person they usually use gets paid. Being that there are some big name players in this charity game it could also be that my work gets out further.
