Nah, haven't bothered putting the pool up yet, first real hot day and we're getting a cool change. Not worth it unless we look like getting a stretch of heat.

Dunno where meathead is, I assume under the house where it's cool Wink

The good lady has a head cold (In Thailand, it happens) so she has been in bed all day. I offered to walk the 100 metres to the local Mom and Pop shop to get some soft drinks. I decided to take the poodle as there is a small block of land full of trees and holds the village water supply and workers car park she plays in. Came out and Tukky is missing. Wandered all over the place looking for her. Tried her usual haunts. Went out an hour later to look again. An hour later she wanders out from under our bed where she had been sleeping. She will want a walk later so it gives me a chance to to grab a beer.

Thanks, I signed with the Claremont Football Club today, I am their official photographer for 2016, they will be paying me for functions, and team photos. I spoke with their president this morning, she's very interested in me doing the work she's going to put it to the committee to see what else I can do with the club.

She loved my work on my Facebook page, people have shared them all over Facebook and stuff. I am also going to get paid work periodically from Camplify as well, I will be taking photos of any campers, caravans, and other camping stuff that is listed through them in Hobart for sale.

I am heading to the local cricket in the morning to get used to take cricket shots as well.

The final piece of my new bedroom furniture finally arrived, nearly 3 months after getting the bed and side table/drawer thingos.

Big MOFO dressing table with a massive mirror. When I wake up in the morning and lift my head the first thing i'll see will be me, looking back. Very Happy Confused Shocked

If that doesn't make me wake up quick, nothing will. Wink

Didn't fancy waking up in the morning, looking up, and freaking that a nude skydiver was about to land on me. Wink

18 year old got an Uni offer today.
Diploma of Health Sciences at Swinburne. Not what he was hoping for but at least it is something and his ATAR was pretty ordinary. This course is a pathways course which means he can transfer to a degree in 2nd year.

Budgies 😊
When I first started working here, NE gascoyne, there were flocks of budgies everywhere. Used to see 1000's of them on my runs thru the desert. Then, about a year later, they just disappeared 😕.
People were saying that the crows that had come in huge numbers to our landfill might have scared them off.

Well they're back! Flocks of the little, chirping green fellas are around again!

EF me it was hot todae!
Sitting at home sweltering was really getting on my nerves so Dog and I jumped in the tray and went for a swim at St Georges lake Creswick. The "beach" was fresh sand and water temp was perfect! The dog did a small paddle but spent the most of the time in my arms being held up (he'd never been swum before).
That done I went to see Bob the Welder to pick up my very rare Bendigo made (cast-iron) Sew-easy Wardana sewing machine base with a broken leg.
These things are super rare and cast is very difficult to weld (can he weild it? YES he can)!
I don't have a thicknesser so I'm taking it to the Men's shed tomorrow to assemble and apply the top.

Bendigo Sewing Machines Limited
Above is a picture of a Bendigo made sewing machine, believed to be one of the eight confirmed machines known to exist. We have had enquiries from two people who claim to have one but to this point these have not been confirmed. This machine was made in Bendigo (Victoria, Australia) in 1923/24

I've only been on FarceBook about 2-3 weaks . I never really did understand the attraction (I only did it keep up with the neff's). This arvo I saw Trevor marmalades profile and sent him a friend request (were class-mates and partners in crime(ish).
It's been 20+ since and he wants a catch up soon.
Looks like we can both make it to North-Pies match, fantastic!
