The site i work at is trialing saliva testing instead of urine testing for drug use detection.
Saliva tests are sensitive to the parent THC component (delta 9) which is detectable for approximately 6-8 hrs after having a smoke, compared to a urine test which tests for the metabolite, which has nothing to do with impairment and can be detected in the urine for weeks after having a spliff.

A much fairer test. Smile

Good news, any idea whether it is more expensive?

Sensible idea. Drug testing should only ever measure impairment.

The Beloved One was just looking through her Aussie pics and told me she misses the warbling of the Aussie magpie. So, I YouTubed up some magpie song vids and happened across this blinder of a tame maggie and a pup playing.

At first you might think the magpie is being bullied. Keep watching...

Thrown off whatever it was that laid me out last week. Said to a couple of people today I have very little recollection of anything I did at work on Thursday and Friday last week, I was obviously operating on autopilot.

Rang up flight centre yesterday to organise a holiday to the states, just waiting now on the quote so I can go through and tidy it up and then, boom, holiday booked and paid for. Very Happy

Sad I would have loved to be there this year!

Paddy's is so much better in Eire ( not surprising really) - it used to be OK here too we would go to the Celtic club ( just a bloody pokie joint now) and there would be sessions - proper sessions with great craic, great music and lots of singing and merriment ( and the occasional pint Wink) and then head to Molly's until the wee small hours!

Now it's just a lot of numptys wearing silly hats and kiss me I'm Irish badges ( and they fecken ain't - as Irish as I am Swedish pfftttt!!!) drinking green beer and being dckheads - pass!! Evil or Very Mad

Enjoy - love to see some photos when you have the time! Cool
