His inside work with his hands were brilliant last night. Has drastically improved his kicking from last year and will continue to improve. Not far off from having another A grade midfielder

Agree - His Inside Work is Fantastic and Hands in Contested/Congested Areas are Fantastic

His skills are more than adequate - has very good hands, and good trajectory & direction on his drop punts.

Decision making when he has time & space is the thing he needs to improve on. When he gets that bit right, he'll pretty much be the complete package as a star Centreman.

"more than adequate" is pushing it, KM.

It has been better this year, so he should get some credit, but it needs to keep improving because it's still not good enough.

David Parkin already rates him as an A-grader. Say what you like about Parko, and he certainly doesn't like the Pies much, but he's a wise old man who has seen it all and done most of it. If Parko says Adams is A-grade, that carries a lot of weight with me.

Continues to improve all aspects of his game, that's all we can ask at this stage.

As a small-bodied midfielder, he needs to bring more to the table than just "in and under".

His kicking is not up to afl standard, and it's his major weakness. This is no secret. His role model should be Sam Mitchell, who plays a similar role, is a similar size, and is a great kick.

Calling him an A-grader is plainly ridiculous.

Well his Kicking is the only thing Holding Him Back from being a A-Grader.

Most Inside Mids are not great Kicks

Yes, Bally. Your demonstrated career record and expertise is much greater than that old no-name mediocrity's, of course. I stand corrected.

On a Friday night broadcast, Dave, possibly it was before the Carlton game, or maybe Geelong.

His kicking is generally good imo. It's his decision-making at times which he needs to work on. The great thing is he seems to be the sort of player who recognises his weaknesses and works his butt off to improve in those areas. He's already cemented himself as our chief inside mid.

Shaw 30… past his prime and Adams (22 this year) a few years yet from his best - but a B-grader for now with potential to be an A-grader.

Has done well in the absence of Levi!
