yeh it gets a bit hard to follow,
i rarely venture into the pre game and post game thread because its such a large mess with 50 convos happening at once, not easy to follow a discussion.
would definately prefer things like team line ups having their own threads
p.s. i appreciate the job mods do, you'll never make everyone happy and they're doing it for nothing. so this is not a knock, just a suggestion for improevement.

I also should have been more respectful in my original post. I spoke in anger. The way the mods manage to keep order in this madhouse - it isn't simply a great job, it's a damn miracle!
But this merge-thread mania doesn't have anything to do with keeping order - indeed, it doubtless makes it more difficult because, as Kingswood more-or-less says above, you could drop the Queen Mary into one of those huge, chaotic match threads and never even notice.

Tannin has a point. It's good to be able to find team selection immediately. Perhaps even a separate sticky from Thursday night until game day would work?

man, i wasnt joking, tannin was the reason for my yellow, (remember the old folks gag tannin lol) the mods are currently reviewing the footage as we speak, although it has been 8 weeks now, but hal tells me tannin will be offered a yellow, but if he fights it its a str8 red, if found guilty of course.
i may not be around as much for a couple of weeks, im currently deep under cover on LU, and loving it. |
