Not often I'm moved to post on the interwebs whilst at the MCG, but this one has me dead set angry!..........

Why oh why, do we have to endure this ridiculous display of modern day "dancing" in black & white clown pants, with doof doof music blaring over the PA, whilst the Little League kids have their moment of glory hijacked by this nonsense?????

It shows a massive slice of disrespect to those kids and families in my opinion.

I totally agree about the disrespect for the kids. It's almost as embarrassing as our kicking for goal at the moment.

Almost as cringeworthy as "kiss cam" and, presumably a new stroke of genius, "dance cam". Why? What have we done wrong in a past life to deserve this?

I wish Moriarity or whatever his name is would shut up & leave us be. Dancers, kiss cam & dance cam. Seriously pathetic attempt at entertainment. Here is a heads up Glen. This is not the USA & you & the media department need to listen to our fans.

I absolutely hate it to the point where I leave my seat to stand up the back and just wait until it's over. All this nonsense does not enhance match-day experience despite what the club says. It's cringeworthy and lacks any class.

The simple solution should be that the little kids enjoy playing some footy at half-time on the MCG and let the supporters just interact with their family or friends or be patient for about 15 or 20 minutes until the game has started. How hard is it for the club to understand this?

I actually like to engage in some discussion during the half time break. With all of the noise over the loud speakers, that's becoming increasingly difficult.

^ Yeah, that was also a bit annoying today. What's the point of blaring music? Do they think we'll all just get bored at half-time and wander off?

To be honest who really cares about the Auskick kids outside there parents?

I don't pay attention to them.

The dancers are good at what they do and there certainly better than cheerleaders but in reality they only did about a 5 minute routine prior to the match and about the same amount at half time so what's really the point?

I wasn't as annoyed by there presence seeing them live as I thought I would be.

It's harmless and not worth the effort making a fuss about.

What I can't stand is all that loud music prior to the game and during breaks.

It is totally taking away from the atmosphere of the game which can be electric at times and is not needed or wanted.

And as others have pointed out it makes holding a conversation difficult as well as listening to the radio.

Kiss and dance cam is lame.

Nothing at football is as bad as seeing fans turn their back on their team and walk out before the game is over.

But I would like to the Little-leaguers given some coverage during the half time. I bit of commentary on the game would be great.

Lol. God spare us! Laughing

I'm with Swoop. Music is wrecking the atmosphere big time.

I disagree. Who cares about the Auskick. I certainly don't. Replacing them with something entertaining can only be a good thing. Now whether these dancers are entertaining is a whole different question.
