I really think he is that badly out of form he is hurting the Side and needs time in the 2nd’s to get back in Form.

Not sure what the solution is , but he is both a shadow of who he was and has potential to be .
A few games this year he seemed to provide structure but his poor form needs a circuit breaker . The week off didn't do it , so a game in the 2's may provide a line in the sand . It certainly wont get easier against Glass next week.
In a year where we all felt that the rule interpretations may provide him some benefit , if not protection from being mauled , he has gone backwards at a million miles an hour .
I would be interested if anyone else has another suggestion , as clearly the coaching panel cant coax a good game from him at the moment. Because Cloke back in good form (not even great form , is the difference between us making up numbers and being a serious premiership threat .

I completely agree that at times he didn't work hard enough at all. But f*** me, he didn't get much help from our disposal inside. Whether dropping him in the magoos is a horrible idea or not, it's never going to happen. Who would take his place? Keefe? Yeah, no.

Cloke's failure to lead is the problem.

He continues to wrestle, so he can have an excuse when he drops a mark.

If he does mark it, he always 50:50 chance at best!

didn't you think the pies were slow tonight. Like maybe they spent two weeks training very hard and had no run. it was the same feeling I go from the Freo game. it was interesting that the pies had no run against Freo given that they had a two week break after it.

I have a theory that the pies extended pre-season by two weeks at the start and so weren't fresh for Freo. I got that feeling again tonight.

Will be interesting to see if we look fresher next week.

Trade him and go get a forward that complements the game plan we're trying to develop and master. Clearly we're not playing a style that suits a player like Cloke so why pay to have the wrong player in our forward line.

Hard to take marks when the ball is at your feet or 6ff in front of you or our in a 3 on one contest. He needs to get up the ground more. Missing Ben Reid badly.
Play white deep and let Cloke get up the ground get some marks and confidence
