Soon enough we are going to be rather top heavy in terms of defenders it seems. I'd argue there's only one spot available for a small defender now that Langdon is firmly cemented in the back 6 along with Tooves and co. Faz is the man if we want elite disposal out of the back half and shows he can rack up the possessions with his 30+ disposal effort. However Sincs is a much better one on one defender who can also win the ball and run it out with sheer speed. Also has improved greatly on his disposal before the hammy.

Who do you prefer? Sincs for mine.

Fasolo by a mile.

But Sinclair will still get games, probably just outside our best 22 though.

For a defensive spot - Sinkers
For a forward spot - Fas

Fasolo.

Little good defensive work does if you turn the ball straight back over again.

Besides, Fas won't be a defender forever. Once he serves his time in defence, he'll become a midfielder or a forward again...

Fas is a more talented player without a doubt but right now is more needed up forward.
Sinkers was very good in defense last year and gave us plenty of rebound.
When Sinkers reaches peak fitness it's the likes of Maxy, Tooves and H that should be worrying about their spots in the side.
Oh and Sinkers' kicking is nowhere near as bad as painted out to be by the usual suspects.

I see Langdon as a medium.

Our main small options are: Williams, Sinclair and Fasolo.

I'd go with Sinclair and Fasolo as the smalls.

As much as we could do with Fasolo's kicking skills and creativity coming out of defence we are crying out for some flair and finishing skills in our forward line.

I still see him more as a forward/midfielder and given the number of potential half backs coming through that aint a bad thing.

Again the same old bullshoit about Sinclair's disposal. Thankfully a few of us see through that. We'll have to wait and see what selectors think.

Agreed that Faz will eventually warrant a return forward. I think that was more of a "Oh Sh*t, we could actually lose Marley for a while here - let's try Faz out" move.

I think it had a lot to do with developing his defensive side of the game. By putting him in the backline he was made more accountable.

Faz has a lot more potential than Sinclair but one thing about Sinkers, he does not leave you wondering.

Ultimately they will be in different ends of the paddock. Both can contribute.

As a small defender covering the oppositions quick small forwards Sinclair.
Sinclair HAS improved his disposal it has a very high efficiency.
Fasolo up forward his time down back has improved his defensive skills immensely but up forward only Elliot is kicking goals.
