Now this is a developing story with a dangled carrot for an extremely talented forward who rarely misses his opportunities.

Jezza is contracted until the end of next season, and seemingly has put off contract talks until it's up. We all know too well what this means. If we can save the cap space until then we could be in with a chance especially him and his family being Pies supporters. Would be a fantastic time to have him with Moore in development and Clokey being in the latter stages of his career.

I know it's a long shot as not only GWS but every club will be throwing serious money at him. Could be a chance.

And before some smarty pants wants to call me out on not putting this in the draft thread, we all know that's no man's land until seasons end!

Probably cost 2x first round picks or a first round pick and an A grader. Who from our A graders are we going to be happy to off load.... Pendles?.... Beams?.... Reid?.... Or maybe one of our developing players.... Grundy?... Scharenberg?

Sorry, I just don't get this obsession with stealing talent as opposed to developing our own player group.

Yes Carlton got Judd, but he didn't bring them a flag. Cost them Kennedy and a couple of first round picks. I'm sure they'd like all those players back now when they evaluate their list.

The way GWS has been going backwards of late, who'd want to be there other than highly paid older players in their twilight? And the draw of playing in front of >50,000 weekly versus 8,000 at home can't be ignored for a kid who has grown up a Pies fan. Wonder if his Pies fan family now support the Giants. Would be weird.

Future goal to goal line.

Frost
Reid
Pendles
Cloke
Cameron

Darcy Moore and White to provide ruck back up to Grundy.

Witts, first and second rounder for Cameron and their second rounder.

Cameron is a Pies supporter and will be a ten year gun.

A lot to give up? How much would you give for flag 16, or 17??

How would we get Moore if we traded away our 1st round pick?

Moore is 2014 draft. Cameron is contracted to end of 2015 therefore we would have five up picks in 2015 draft.

If Moore comes on strongly I dont know whether we will want to give up to much to get him.

We would have to trade 2 experienced players to get him because our first round draft picks is out of play (Darcy Moore).

Not going to happen.

Out of contract in 2015 mate. We have all our picks next season.

We would likely have to give up a lot though. I could see them targeting Witts actually. He's gonna be a monster and most recruiting departments will know it. Would have to add first pick and steak knives too.

I would LOVE to have Cameron at the pies but most definitely NOT at the expense of losing 2 other future stars who could also get us flag 16 or 17...... Rolling Eyes
