| Post subject: Povvo Roos and soft draw.! |  |

This will be no doubt be moved by the Mods into the wasteland of OTHER AFL but im fuming about this, so I put it here. According to BT tonight, the povvo roos get a real soft draw from here on in, and should finish on bloody fifteen wins. Get this, the bastards play the dees, dogs, GWS, Brisbane, all twice, theres eight wins right there, off the tee. How come we don't play at least the dogs twice, or the Lions ?? Grossly unfair draw, seems like the fatman Demetrious final gift was to grant Brayshaws tossers a soft marshmellow draw, to get them a possible fourth spot.

| I've got us winning 8 more, you could be onto something here. Better get that percentage up when we play Brisbane and GWS in the latter rounds. Hawthorn twice will be a good test for us too. |

So the draws unfair. This ain't exactly news. When Carlton Essendon Richmond and Hawthorn are all sitting at the bottom our draw will be soft. Until they change to a draw where everyone plays each other only once it's always gunna be good for some and not others.

Yeah very soft draw but no where near a top 4 team. They only play 2 more games against teams in the current 8, so they might well win 15 games. But they are up and down like a yoyo I can see them losing a game against a Melbourne or Carlscum.

finishing outside the eight will get you a "softer" draw.
is playing the lower teams really going to prepare you for finals footy? if they make the eight this year their draw next year becomes harder.

With due respect Donny, I think you are confusing me with a couple of others re complaints on the other sections of Nicks, I have not started any threads over it, only made one comment in reply. The only topic I think should be relocated back here, is the Laugh at Scum thread, only cos despising the Bluebellies is so MUCH a part of Collingwood heritage. Im not being over critical of the Mods, just stating an opinion, that is all.

Yes finishing outside the top 8 will get you the softer draw, but would that happen to us?
I doubt that!
We'd be playing the Scum & ESS* TWICE no matter where we & they finish up on the ladder!

Sorry i hate to disagree...but you still have to win those games. And I for one don't really fancy coming up against the Dees again.
Also last time i looked......you don't win premierships against bottom four sides. I would much rather make the top four on merit. If we can't beat the hawks, power or geelong...then we don't deserve to be in the top four...simple as that my friend. |
