I expect Frampton could play up forward as well as some relieving work in the ruck. The other option obviously, is to play Howe forward, but my preference would be to see Frampton there.

I'd give Macrae a simple job, to run with Bontempelli all night. Of course, he'd be outsized by the Bont, but he doesn't have to beat him, just limit his influence. The other option would be to use Crisp, but I think this would diminish the positive impact Crisp has on our attacking game.

The Daicos boys have to take this game by the scruff of the neck and show what real class is all about. McCreery and Schultz have to deliver. They are each running out of excuses for their pretty ordinary performances thus far this year. They can both do much, much better.

We can't expect too much from Parker, Bytel or for that matter even Sullivan, as long as they are competitive.

We still have a host of experienced Premiership stars in Moore, Howe, IQ, the Daicos boys, Sidey, Crisp, Cameron and Hill, so we'll have plenty of talent on the park. Pies by 12 points.

Hard game to win with the outs. Howe coming back makes a big difference and allows more flexibility.

I am hoping Ash plays a ripper and gets into the game with a few goals.

These back to the wall situation’s with reduction in key players should present
Ash with the opportunity to grab the game by the throat

A poor performance and his chance to be a part of our future may well see his career as a VFL magpie

With poor performance in do or die beggars the question—could you rely on him on last Sat in September

Backs really against it for this one. I worry N.Diacos is having to shoulder more and more in the middle and the potential risks..he looked sore after the Freo game.

We have a chance in this, but let's be honest here....if we lose, it will still be a win if we can get away without anymore injuries.

Tonight's game is similar, with so many ins/outs. Exciting!

Frampton to second ruck, but will we miss his height down back? Win it in clearances and the middle and we won’t have to worry about it!

If Frampton plays defence then Ash Johnson will be the second ruck.

Ive woken up with a really bad headache and neck pain. Cancelled the boys swimming lesson which would normally be at 10. I'm going to see how I'm feeling later on. I think I'll make it.

Latest markets have the Dogs as favourites now ($1.75 to $2.08].

The Marvel factor and our injury list likely tips the ledger in their favour. The biggest fascination will be whether our system holds up well despite the high number of changes.

From what I've heard, I think Frampton and Markov will both play forward.

Frampton will be the second ruckman to Cameron.

I'm feeling confident we'll win this.
I liked what I saw at Optus, especially in the 3rd quarter.
Underdogs and everyone writing us off... just the way we like it.

Pies by 17 points.

I reckon they might have a three way ruck rotation with Cameron, Frampton and Johnson all having a stint at ruck/forward.

Frampton or Johnson must play forward we need someone to being the ball to ground.
I would give Lipinski the run with role on the Bont.
We are underdogs rightly so given our injury list
We will need to be at our absolute high pressure best
I would use Markov on a wing. Use his speed to be able to run back and help defence or break a line going forward and make the dogs defence panic with quick entries
We can’t give there talls space we need to clamp down hard on them
No easy entries no easy lead up marks
Everything has to be under pressure
A win tonight will be a win for a system and team effort
Heart says pies by 12 head says dogs by 20
PIES BY 8
