Not to be a massive jinx, but I don't expect we'll have an easier win for two months. Bulldogs haven't been the worst team this season, but they're just not on our level. I think we'll win by at least 40 and possibly by quite a bit more.

Sincerely, "a massive jinx".

One of the most disappointing losses in a long, long time. So much to play for. I thought i'd wake up feeling better about it. But no, it's still burning. I hope more so for the players.
I really hope there were valid reasons for the Sack and Beams not to play.

I read somewhere this morning that Beams is a calf. If true, our season will be stuffed by the time he comes back in 4-6 weeks which seems to be the norm for us.

Goldy I'm pretty sure has been confirmed as knee soreness. 6 day break. He may well have been rested with the knowledge that we've got the Hawks in 6 days time and there would have been no chance of him coming up for 2 x 6 day breaks.

Either way unless we win one of the next two (ideally both) our season could be in trouble very very quickly. From all reports Freo and North have a fairly easy run home. Freo is already ahead of us and North probably will be unless we can pull a rabbit out of the hat next Saturday. Still can't believe we're going into this game where we are clearly the bunnies... with a 6 day break vs 8 day break. Mind you they're not at full strength I guess.

Hmmmm.... like someone else said... this loss is really burning... it was such a bad performance by us.

Calf, by Collingwood speak, means either rested or out for the season.

LOVE IT!.... thanks for the laugh. You're spot on of course!!! I do remember the spate of calves back when the grumpy one was our coach... miraculous recoveries in a week! Fingers crossed ... because geez we need him.

Well you are a cat lover and a bit of a pussy so all I'm left wondering is when exactly did you get run over and since when have you become black?

The only thing I want to say is, we got pinged for holding the ball way too many times last night.

As much as we hate losing, as we are playing a team full of kids we're bound to have some down periods during the season.

Calm your farms.

PS. I thought Adams was decent, had plenty of the ball and had a real crack. I'm far more worried by Swan's season.
