Yes 6 goals for the year is fantastic!
martin gott 15 marks in the vfl yesterday
he is a better player than blair in my opinion
and yes he can play midfield where we have been
going backward of late.

Played a ripper game last night and was good the week before, too, so won't be getting dropped on the back of those games, but you're dreaming if you think he is one of the best small forwards in the league.

Yep.

Without Blair in the side, someone like an Elliott wouldn't have kicked 20 odd
goals after 9 games.

Football teams need a balance, not everyone can be a flashy superstar, some have to do the donkey work........ that is obviously extremely under-appreciated by some.

Blair needs to have that impact on games at least once a month, until he does this his place in the side will always be questioned and rightly so.

Bucks' job is to make decisions, ours is to question them.
Plenty of examples of Bucks and far better coaches than him getting things wrong.

Blindly agreeing with everything is just not how I roll.

My beef with Blair is I don't think he was hitting the scoreboard enough. Although he plays as a defensive forward he still is a forward and needs to impact the scoreboard more as he did on Saturday night. Needs to do more of it. Let's hope he backs this up with a similar performance next week.

Blair is doing what the coaches want him to do. His pressure on his opponents is great.

He was very good against WCE

You have to love his guts and determination but, over the long haul you suspect he lacks a little bit of everything else and is fringe best 22.
Will have his good games and a lot of ok games and a few very quiet games.

Which one of our players does hit it enough?

Last nights score was pretty amazing compared to most weeks since 2010/11 when was the last time we kicked a lot more goals than point, or even just more goals than points?

As most small forwards do.

He may well be in that 15-22 ranked players due to his limitations but I'm pretty sure his is one of the first few magnets to hit the whiteboard at selection meetings. Until one of these young tyros demonstrate that they can outperform Blair in all the key areas the selectors pick him for (not what we mug punters think), Blair stays.

Pretty hard to out perform him if never given a shot.

I swear we had all these same arguments in 2010 over O'Bree and Lockyer.

Looks like we'll be without Blair for a week at least anyway.

You can question all you want everyday of the year dude. However getting the answers YOU want to hear based on YOUR opinion is the really difficult bit..... Rolling Eyes
