At $800k a season, that's an expensive decoy.

Very Happy your right! but the Decoy takes at least the best and at times the second best defender as well along with him.
Waiting for Reed to come in and see the difference is the hardest wait of all time. If the midfield is winning it's fair share of the ball Reeds mobility and marking prowess will put most teams including the Hawks in a lot of bother.
I remember Mark Neeld when he was going through his pain at the Dees saying what a difference the Dees would be if he had a key forward on the park.
Still I would like to see Cloke play at half forward to get himself into the game for al least a quarter otherwise he will never regain form!

I'm all for the team having more goal kickers but Clokey and White just need to lift in general. That's fine if they're not going to pressure the scoreboard if others are more capable but they need to be more attacking in general play by taking more marks and setting up their teammates. Play them up the ground. There's no excuse for them only having 4 possessions and 1 or 2 marks a game. I just want more input from them.

I agree, would love more input, just think settling our defense and improving our clearance are firstly more critical, and secondly, a major reason for our struggling forwards.
