What a week!

I had a bad feeling about last weekend. All the other teams competing for the top four won. Then we inexplicably got thrashed in the VFL and Ben Reid gets re-injured. I couldn't go to the game and just felt I was going to be glad I couldn't.

It was just one of those crap footy weekends that happen sometimes. I am hoping this one will be the opposite with the two great victories coming up and no new injuries. At least we had good news today with Frost all clear and Marley not suspended. On the negative side, Goldy will miss again and so will Maxy. I am hoping against Carlton we will have Goldy, Maxy, Sidey back.

I think we must face reality, and realise we will probably finish fifth or sixth, cannot see top four now, yesterday was devastating for any hope of that. Our window will open wide next season, and I expect a Pies grannie berth in two years, and a flag either then, or soon after. Sadly guys, I think this seasons GF will be swans v port, and what a boring as batshit one that would be. Such is Life.
