Does anyone know when Marley's sentencing is due to occur?

22nd of April, I thinksomeone mentioned it in another thread.

Certainly wouldn't hurt to have him out there right now.

Yep, 22nd April. Hope he gets cleared. Would be a nice birthday gift that day for me!

^ Afraid the best he can hope for is a suspended sentencehe's already been found guilty. But that'd still be pretty good news, all things considered.

Does anyone know if he's been training regularly in the meantime? Wish he could have at least played VFL to keep his match fitness up.

I try to block that sort of painful recollection... but I'll be on holidays in Byron Bay so that soothes the sense of lose.

I wonder if Marley would have preferred to have had his sentencing hearing by now?

I dare say the longer it drags on the more anxious he gets with his life basically put on hold until he finds out his fate.

Not sure why it takes two months between being found guilty and the sentencing hearing.

You're right. Understood he was cannot be cleared but avoiding time in jail was more what I should have indicated.

Hopefully Bob is still training. Will get a 2 year suspended sentence.

I'm tipping a suspended sentence as well, wasn't an overly vicious attack.

Yes, Marley has been training regularly since he returned from the Gold Coast camp. I read an interview with Rodney Eade where he said Marley wanted to stick to his normal routine until the sentencing on 22/4.

Poor bugger it must be an awfully long wait for him.

He does look in good nick though. Here's a photo from training today.

He will get what he deserves, but hopefully the WA judicial system is nothing like the AFL's MRP!

Because if it's consistent he will have a suspended sentence, if it's like the MRP, well let's not go there.
