The thing is pressure does lead to goals. We are one of the top teams for forcing goals from turnovers.
Still, I'm fully on the bandwagon for replacing Blair or Goldsack with a more attacking option. I just think Fasolo, or even Kennedy or Karnezis, are better options than Martin. Our problem is generating goals when our midfield is struggling, and I don't see Martin helping there at all, he's not the type who can create his own goals.
If he does get a game, great, hope he does well. But I don't think he's what we need.

| Yep, can't argue with any of that. And the players you've nominated CAN be selected for the senior team. Karnezis might need another run or 2 in the VFL to regain fitness. |

At the start of June (after round 11) wont we be able to promote a mid season rookie without having to sacrifice someone on the LTIL?

Maybe he does but they should be seriously considering his selection in the seniors after his last two efforts in the VFL. |

Yep, likely to go to Frost you'd imagine given Scharenberg is expected back around then. |

No, I didn't but I did read the coach's (Dale Tapping's) positive comments about him after last week. Then he was named in the top 2 among our best this week. He must be doing something right Daz......  |

No, I didn't but I did read the coach's (Dale Tapping's) positive comments about him after last week. Then he was named in the top 2 among our best this week. He must be doing something right Daz...... |
Not questioning that he's progressing. Just take those player reviews with a grain of salt. He's coming from a long way back having missed all of the preseason so I don't understand the urgency |

There is no urgency as such, just a discussion on a football discussion forum that he could be considered for the seniors on his current VFL form Daz. It's as always up to the Collingwood selection committee to decide....... |
