Yep, 6 weeks apparently.

Using the Collingwood calculator that amounts to 15 years.

But it's the doc who makes the call, can't ask him to be unethical.

No reason why Maxy wouldn't go round again.

Don't we need the mid year elevation spot for Frost?

The suggestion is that Brown will go onto the LTI list which opens another spot.

Not sure why club doctors continue to go down this track of rest as treatment for dislocated shoulders.

How often does that work when the patient plays a professional level contact sport.

We've seen it all before with Rusling and Dick to name just two.

Shoulder injuries are a curse and I for one could see this coming from the start.

Quote:
COLLINGWOOD'S Nathan Brown could find out on Monday if he requires potentially season-ending shoulder surgery, Magpies director of football Rodney Eade says.

The luckless defender re-dislocated his right shoulder on Saturday, in the opening quarter of his first AFL game since first injuring his shoulder in round two.

Brown flew sideways into a pack and his arm was caught awkwardly in the contest by West Coast ruckman Nic Naitanui.

Win among Pies' best, says Maxwell

The premiership backman immediately ran from the field and was later taken to hospital after Collingwood medical staff couldn't put his shoulder back in.

The 25-year-old had completed a solid rehabilitation and played three games in the VFL, but is now facing possible surgery.

Yeah looks very likely.
