Last nights score was pretty amazing compared to most weeks since 2010/11 when was the last time we kicked a lot more goals than point, or even just more goals than points?

That's because Travis Cloke had none of the ball to kick his obligatory 5 behinds. Nor did we get it inside 50 enough times to bomb it to the top of the goal square, only to have it rushed through for a behind.

It was a pleasant change.

He was our best on ground.

Not only did he kick 3, but he set up a few as well.

I think long term Blair should hold his spot, however I want to see Adams, JT and Kennedy in there as well. The advantage of these guys over Blair is that they can kick goals but also can play as midfield rotations. Blair is more of a forward pocket at this stage. JT and Adams in particular are stoppage experts and could help stop the rot out of the centre at the moment.

I suppose long term these guys will take over from Ball and Swan, but I still think our current structure is at least 1 midfielder short who wins clearances.

Therefore, if Fasolo keeps defending like he did last week and doesn't hit the scoreboard, his spot could be up for grabs for another midfielder. I must say though I loved the look of Fas forward. He is so dangerous.

So hard to squeeze so many into 22. That's why Blair will never feel 100% secure because there are guys with much more talent just waiting in the wings who could play his role.

However, if he keeps harrassing and crumbing like he did last week then he is a lock because few possess his ability to read the ball off hands.

Are people kidding, this man's hands are the best in the AFL, he is clean and rarely fumbles the ball. Brilliant player, certainly others would be dropped before him.

MRP just gave him a week, not sure if he can downgrade it.

Ablett gets off scott free though, of course.

Blair can accept the reprimand and play. Fair enough decision I think.
