Jon Ralph on before the game on fox stated he believes Frawley is off to the hawks 5 yrs @ $600k a year. He said collingwood aren't chasing him at his asking price.

Nice. Reckon that will just about sink the hawks era.

Frawley makes most sense at Hawks. Always looked a certainty that he'd go there. We wouldn't be offering big dollars when we already have a few tall defenders, but when you have none, like the Hawks, it's a bit more critical.

Witts and Grundy will be proper ruckmen next year, if they aren't already. Back up veteran for insurance, a la Hudson, would be sufficient IMO.

They're not now and doubtful for next year.

Witts and Grundy get through this season relatively unscathed and get another solid preseason under their belts and I think they'll be getting close, certainly would be more competitive for longer periods and stronger through the core which is their biggest issue currently.

I think we'll rookie a mature age defender, I also think we'll throw the book at Frawley.

I hate to say it, but I think we need to move Brown on.

Why get rid of Brown a KPD and then try to recruit Frawley a KPD?

The luxury with Reid is that we can go for either a key forward or a key back. The reality is that we are one key position short.

Spud Frawley usually has Cloke's measure so I reckon the tone of this thread will change if he plays down back tomorrow.

Any one who reckons Frawely is worth 600k has rocks in their head! He is nothing more than a spud Smile

On another note anyone think, Sidebottom for Darling is worth a swap?
WCE need a mid and we can use a power third up forward.

How's Frosty's brother situated at GWS?

I wouldn't mind him down back with his brother for the Pies. Two big, fast mean, hard, backmen with heads like robbers dogs making life terrible for opposing forwards for a decade, would be bloody beautiful for Collingwood.
