Thank you to all the callers

I would like to thank all the callers that put in their time and effort, in relaying the game to "live scoreboard and chat" A lot of the time, the collingwood games would be unaccessable (at least to me) and I rely on logging onto nicks, to get my fix. I really enjoy the atmosphere cheering on the pies with my fellow supporters , and sincerely thank all the people that have taken up this job to bring the pleasure of the live game to those who wouldn`t have normally been able to enjoy it. You have all done a great job...Thank you all

I also rely on the scoreboard chatroom as I seldom get a live call. Yes, it's chaotic at times but we usually get what's happening.

It's always a lot of fun and, having attempted to call the game a couple of times myself, full marks to Culprit, Merri and the weed for giving it a go tonight.

Big thanks to Dale for doing the Scoreboard while Mike is away, I was not looking forward to doing it myself so thanks Dale, thanks to the callers too, what I love about the chat is that there is always some-one who'll put their hand up to call the game, great stuff!

I'd also like to pass my thanks on to the team who sit and get the message out to those of us unable to get any radio or TV coverage each week. It makes a real difference to get a feel for the game rather than than just stare at a scoreboard hoping to see our goals change. Thanks Guys and Gals for a job well done, and your work is appreciated.

Thanks to all of you guys and in particular Magpiemad and Dale who kept things going while I got to see what must have been one of the best games of footy that I've ever seen.

I hate close games with a passion... but then the siren blows and we've just beaten the scum and rubbed their noses in it by making sure that they do no better than 7th or 8th - don't you love a close game. Life's sweet.

Very good thread, Greg. I agree with all the good things which have been said above.
Whilst it's a helluva lot of fun, isn't is a shame that we have to "watch" a game in this way just because the AFL and the TV moguls want it that way.
