He gets better as his game time increases and has shown he can kick a goal against Brisbane, as well as play down back. Hopefully his confidence can rise along with Didak who lifted back to his old self today. The season is far from over ! Laughing

Agreed - Swan looks like he may be one of those medium sized players who when they stand up when everyone else is playing well surprise other teams. Theres a bit of Betheras 2002 about him.

He still needs a bit of work with his marking and decision making but has it over many others with his willingness to do the hard stuff. He must be allowed to stay in the seniors and develop. If he does he will become a solid utility who can play forward or back as needed.

I think MM likes Swan so his chances of staying in the seniors are pretty good.

He has a go, makes a contest and improves each game. All you can ask for from him.

Yeah I think Swan has the goods to be a excellent player. Cam Cloke did alright he has a big frame and a good mark but he really needs to work on is his agility, he takes 10 minutes to change direction, hopefully he can work on that and become a solid ruckman/foward.

Our 2001 draft is proving more fruitful then most:

McGough,
Swan,
Cole,
Davidson,
Walker.

Swan could be the 2006 Benny Johnson. Who knows, he could even be the backline glue for the next 5 or 6 years?
