If this is correct Culprit, I will be jumping for joy. It would be a great draw. We should have about 7-8 wins in the first 10 rounds which would set up our season beautifully. With the four interstate games, three are most definately winnable being Sydney, Freo and Adelaide. Lets face facts, this is a pretty easy draw and there would be no excuses from that point of view.

Lets hope it is true.

I can see the headlines again. "Collingwood only playing 4 times interstate"

Draw looks good.

I bet West Coast are pissed they have to play us here again only and at the MCG this time. Same with Richmond, as they only play us once and its our home game...SUFFER. Serves them right for doing the dirty mid way through the year and deciding to not share the gate takings.

If that's our draw, i'd be stoked. Just wait for clubs to complain about how little we travel. Wink

If true, this is how many time we will play each team:

WESTERN BULLDOGS 2
ADELAIDE 2
CARLTON 2
KANGAROOS 2
ESSENDON 2
ST KILDA 2
FREMANTLE 2
RICHMOND 1
WEST COAST 1
HAWTHORN 1
GEELONG 1
MELBOURNE 1
SYDNEY 1
PORT ADELAIDE 1
BRISBANE 1

First time in a couple of years we will not play Brisbane twice, Port at home again - but at TD.

Looks like an alright draw, if it is real, doubt it is though.

TD is a good ground. Just because we have a social club at MCG doesn't mean that the AFL have to put us there.

Why do we have 4 home games at telstra dome when the mcg is our home. Shouldn't it only be 2 or 3 at the max?

Sure, 4 of our home games aren't at the MCG, but 5 of our away games are there, so we end up playing 12 games at our home ground, which is pretty good.

Kinda like Brisbane, but without paying for it...

Also, looks like we've got a shot to get off to a good start to the season. If we return to anywhere near where we've been in the two Grand Final years as far as form goes, we could, even should, win the first 4.

Port at the Dome? What a waste. Instead of drawing 60+ they'll get fifty. Provided we are around the 8.
