"Sean is 6 foot 3 in the old measurements, but he runs 400 metres in 50.1 seconds and 100 metres in 10.8 seconds. (Geelong's Kane Tenace, touted as the fastest player in the AFL, manages 10.7 seconds for 100 metres.) "

Now, if that's accurate, this guy really could turn out to be a good pick.

However, this makes me even more disappointed. I know a guy who's 6 foot 6 and runs a hundred in 10.5, and he doesn't play footy. He's been doing athletics for a while now, and just never was interested in footy.

If I ahd his physical talent, I'd already be in the AFL, it just pisses me off. Then again, he's pretty injury prone...

Yeah, he sounds very pacy, which is good. Seems like the modus operandi this year - and I reckon it was the correct path to take.

When you play x number of games at the telstra dome, then these are the guys you need to bust the game open, wet weather specialists like Mcgough are no longer useful.

Lets hope that they have more than just athletic ability.

He was kept well and truly under wraps until too late. Talk now seems to be along the lines of him being a steal at 23. Time will tell. I hope so.
