Hopefully we pick this guy up in the rookie draft. He will probably win the Best and Fairest at Williamstown this year (according to Dale) and when I have seen him play, I thought he has looked very good.

We almost picked him up at the start of this year, but decided not to, but I reckon there is a very, very good chance that he will be picked up by us this time around. Like other people have mentioned before, I'd be suprised if we didn't.

If he is that good he may be picked up by others in the Pre-season draft. Dennis Pagan is quite adept at picking up talent from the VFL.

I reckon they would leave him if he wants to come to Collingwood, to be honest.

I reckon we'd get him pretty early in the rookie draft, J26. I'm not talking about the National Draft.

Yep I have no doubt he will be our first rookie pick if still available. May even be a chance to sneak onto a list with a late pick in the ND.

If he nominates for the ND, we could also be a chance to pick him up there. Knowing our luck though, someone else would pick him up.

Would be a leading contender from the small list of players to get drafted from the VFL.

We should rookie him but wouldn't be surprised to see him drafted straight onto someone's senior list as a late pick.

He'd have to nominate for the ND, though wouldn't he? That's what I thought anyway.

Remember no one picked up Davey last year, after he nominated for the ND, but Melbourne grabbed him in the Rookie Draft.

I'd still look at him in the national draft as a lte pick. He is a must as a rookie pick.

He does need to bulk up GD. He has been impressive, why not pick him up late? The VFL has proved a solid hunting ground recently.

A full AFL based pre-season is all the Luke will need to get the extra bulk he'll need. If he bulks up too much, he'll lose some of pace, which is his best weapon.

The Grand Final edition of the TXU-VFL Record has announced Luke Jarrad as the winner of the Mark Of The Year.

The mark in question was taken during the round two game against Box Hill at Burbank Oval.

Just bumping this backup, with the Rookie Draft coming up in a couple of weeks. I reckon this guy will be one of our rookies.
