Hi all,
Well I spent some time surfing the other clubs websites to compare prices of their Best and Fairest nights and here is what I discovered (listed as Club, Adult Member cost inc GST, venue, date)
Carlton - $82.50, Moonee Valley Racecourse, Fri Oct 5
Essendon - Gold $160(limited qty), Silver $132, Bronze $105 in river room, Palladium, Wed Oct 3.
Richmond - $120, Palladium, Mon Oct 8th
Geelong - $110, Palladium, Tuesday Oct 2
Western Bulldogs - $137.50, Palladium, Sun Oct 7
St.Kilda - $108, Medallion Club Colonial, Thur Oct 4
Hawthorn - $99, Palladium, Sat Oct 6
Melbourne - $115, Crown Showroom, Formal Ball, Wed Oct 3
Kangaroos - no info on website.
Now, once again I ask the Collingwood Football club to Justify $180 Per person to attend the Copeland Trophy. I say again, maybe Crown are ripping us off!! The next nearest ticket price in the entire Melbourne based teams is the Bulldogs (of all clubs!)at $137.50. And Hawthorn have the prime night, Saturday, and theirs is less than $100!!!
Please people understand that I CAN afford to go but out of principle refuse to pay the ludicrous sum of $180.
